    Different = Irreplaceable

    This October (17 to 29 October), Stary Browar in Poznań (Poland) will become a home to creative workshops, lively debates, as well as creative discussions. Art and Fashion Forum (AFF) offer two panel discussions of the Open University on 29 October: a debate on fashion and a debate on art. Both panels will be moderated by SHOWstudio. The videos of the debates will be available on SHOWstudio, getting global online reach for the first time in the AFF's history.

    The theme and inspiration for all participants and guests of the event is Different = Irreplaceable.

    'The theme of the 10th Anniversary of Art and Fashion Forum by Grażyna Kulczyk calls for us to all embrace each other’s differences and help bring about a future where people are celebrated for their uniqueness and individuality, sentiments that I entirely agree with' says Nick Knight.

    Remember our Tumblr curation from REMEMBER YOU WERE MADE TO BE USED? The multi-media platform will be hosting an installation at Ditto, opening on 22 September 2016.  The exhibition challenges and complies with the way today's copy and paste generation consumes imagery, through the recurrent motifs of surveillance, censorship and the male youth as elements at the centre of REMEMBER's work.

    PRELUDE is an introduction to the collaboration with illyr. This week long installation will be a continuation of REMEMBER’s own work as well as fragments from the new movement. At the centre of the show will be a screening of their debut music video; the first glimpse at their upcoming body of work, [SCROLLING SUBCONSCIOUS].

    The launch is from 19:00 - 21:00 tomorrow night and the exhibition runs until 28 September 2016.

    Remember You Were Made To Be Used × illyr

    On the 22nd of this month, the incredible REMEMBER YOU WERE MADE TO BE USED and illyr are screening their new film "Prelude" to celebrate there newfound collabortaion.

    "The two artists have begun producing a triptych of music videos under the title ‘scrolling subconscious’, exploring the juncture between love, lust and sexuality in the face of surveillance within a digital age.

    This week long exhibition will be a continuation of REMEMBER's own work as well as an initiation of what’s to come via remnants of the past. Expect chaos of footage, disused images, replicated zines, unused boys, worn out clothes and soundscapes which make use of sampled found-sound ranging from arias, church recordings to sex clubs and amateur pornography.

    Based between Paris and London, REMEMBER and illyr’s practices combine choreography, filmmaking, video montage, music and print to address various aspects of intimacy, identity and privacy.

    Clothing and styling in collaboration with Sonny Tassel."
