Latest reports from Milan menswear are now live!

SHOWstudio's latest reports from Milan can now be read online! As Milan's menswear season comes to a close, make sure to catch up on all our latest collection coverage, which pulls in the best timely updates of every show, live, as it happens.

Reporter, Lou Stoppard, provides our most recent show reviews. The Vivienne Westwood report examines the British designer's consistent focus on protest and rebellion and challenges wether this conventional signature approach is stagnating the designer's creations.

Miuccia Prada's collection presented easy, formulaic outfits, 'artfully underwhelming, yet strikingly beautiful'. The show's presentation too provided pause for thought, with models drifting in and out of a sim-like set, with backdrops of video projections and retro furniture. Read Stoppard's unique take on the Prada show now.

Reports are also now live from traditional Italian fashion houses Gucci and Emporio Armani. Although, as Stoppard points out, us Londoners may scoff at the lack of genuine innovation in shows such as these, the reports recognise the importance of the designer's understanding of their traditional Milanese dresser, whose love of luxury remains a core component to the brand's aesthetics.

By contrast, Umit Benan's show saw a fusion of this traditional tailoring, refreshed with bold print, accessory and stage setting. Balaclava-clad men paced down the runway, against a backdrop of graffiti-covered walls, street-lamp lit alcoves, in which street vendors and rose sellers weren't out of place. Cast your eye over the Benan report for a clear insight into this exciting show.
