Raised in New York city, Elizabeth Wurtzel is a writer known for her highly confessional novels that include 'Prozac Nation' (detailing her own depression in early adolescence) and 'Bitch: In Praise of Difficult Women'. Wurtzel has also written for a number of newspapers including The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian and magazines including Elle and New York Magazine. A trained lawyer, Wurtzel has also practiced at several firms in New York City since 2008.
