Osman Ahmed is a London-based writer, who specialises in writing about fashion, design and culture. He is currently the features writer and fashion critic for The Business of Fashion.
Prior to his studies, Ahmed worked for auctioneer Kerry Taylor. Ahmed graduated from Central Saint Martins with a Fashion History and Theory degree. During his time at college, he edited the third issue of 1 Granary and helped establish the title’s online platform. After graduating, he was appointed fashion writer for AnOther Magazine and contributed to The New York Times, Vogue, The Cut and Evening Standard, before joining The Business of Fashion as senior editorial associate in 2016.
As a writer, Ahmed has contributed to a number of publications including Vogue, Financial Times, Style.com, WSJ, i-D, Dazed & Confused, The Dailey Telegraph, Stylist and How to Spend It.
As a creative and editorial consultant, he has worked with Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, Kiko Kostadinov, Faustian Steinmetz, Swarovski, Mackintosh, Topshop, Bloomsbury, Style.com, Sportmax, Net-a-Porter and MatchesFashion.com.
